I am a college student and went to the campus health center to find a reason why my feet are ALWAYS freezing. The doctor suggested getting a thyroid test, in which I did the following week during the campus special. When I got the results back my TSH level was 5.33 and I discussed my results with a different doctor, they said nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. However, I was looking up information on the normal TSH level and it kept saying the old was .5-5 and the new is .5-3. Is this true? My results were based on the scale of 0.5-5 being the normal.
