Is TB Related To Sickle Cell Disease?

hi, i have sickle cell disease and developed swollen lymph nodes in the neck. recently i underwent an incision biopsy and it was found that the swelling was not cancerous, neither was it caused by TB. Do I need to do further tests? Has it got anything to do with sickle cell disease?

In my opinion it is not TB.

Sickle cell has caused this swelling.

Whenever the person is having sickle cell disease. It causes obstacle in the blood flow to peripheral areas. This type of reaction can cause infections in the peripheral areas and causes lymphnodes swelling.

I advice you to stay away from the hypoxia. It can cause such sweeling incidence.
