hello dear.
I would like to know a detailed family history of asthma and allergy.
if its strongly positive and your child has h/o repeated chest infections ,then this medication is fine and can be given upto 1 week(not the sinarest).
i would advise to try some home remedies like one teaspoon of honey in a glass of luke warm once daily and give him steam inhalation atleast twice a day or saline nebulizations.
If he is wheezy or has repeated chest infections then asthakind should be given for 2 weeks along with monteleukast sachet 4mg(one sachet at night for 3 months)
hope it will help.
Wishing your child good health :-)
