Is Propranolol The Right Medicine For Tremors?

My father has tremors and was given propranolol. Since he started taking The medication he s been experiencing Jerks. He drops things And Throws things in the air Without any control. He s also having problems walking sometimes. Could this be an effect of the medication?

This wouldn't be a likely side effect of the propranolol but it would be easy enough for his doctor to stop the medication and see if the symptoms resolve themselves.
