Is Primolut N Effective In The Treatment Of Irregular Periods?
My periods are not regular. So, I started taking Primolut n for getting my periods and it worked the first time and when I don t get them for 2-3 months. I am taking a tablet and in 2-3 days i get my periods but my question is is it safe to take these tablets for getting my periods and if so how long should i continue?

Hi, Welcome to HCM I understand your concern. * The way you are taking Primolut N is to bring about withdrawal bleeding after a short course of the pills. If you want to treat your irregular periods.. you should take the pills cyclically for 3 months ( consult your gynecologist before starting it- for physical check up & exclusion of certain conditions is essential before starting it )- this mostly helps to correct the cycles very well. * In case it does not work- you need a ray of investigations to find out the exact cause ( ovarian cyst, thyroid problem,PCOD ) with help of few investigations & start with specific treatment.
