Is Prednisone The Right Medicine For Rheumatoid Arthritis?

I am diagnose for Rheumatoid arthritis after I suffered a terrible pain and swelling in the area of tarso. they gave me an injection of 1 ml directly in the area which gave sudden relieve. How much doses do i need for complete cure? not forgetting I am also taking prednisone 20 mg in divided dose. please respond

You can take dose of methotrexate.
I will advise dose 7.5mg weekly.
You can start combination consulting your treating doctor

NSAIDs, DMARDs (disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs) are sometimes prescribed in severe cases.
Newer biologics have role in RA.
Prednisolone has side effects.

NSAIDs, DMARDs (disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs) are prescribed in severe cases.
