HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you have been very ill recently then this may be the reason.

Physical illness is one possible cause of delayed periods.

Other causes are: (1) pregnancy
(2) emotional illness or stress
(3)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone
(4)inadequate diet
(5)perimenopause
(6)high levels of a hormone called prolactin
(7)polycystic ovarian syndrome

If you wish your doctor can investigate, by blood tests and imaging, if any of the above are present.

I hope this helps
