Is Ovacare Tablet The Right Medicine For Heavy Vaginal Bleeding During Menstruation?

hi Doc, my daughter aged 17 + is having very heavy bleeding during periods and also earlier last month she had her periods for over 15 days and again end of last month she had her periods till date. The gynaecologist had prescribed Pause tablet which she had taken last month n again this time as well as a tablet called Ovacare.. but she is still having bleeding and am worried about it. How do we stop the bleeding?

I understand your concern.
Pause MF medication would only help to decrease the bleeding and does not stop it completely.
Ovacare is a specially designed micronutrient formulation which provides balanced micronutrients and vitamins. One of its ingredient 'inositol' helps support ovarian function and restores menstrual cycle.
With use of these medication, if the bleeding does not regularize, the root cause for it needs to be found out by clinical and ultrasound examination.
Kindly consult Gynecologist for clinical evaluation and management.
