Is Nyquil And Acyclovir Given To Cure Cold Sores On Upper Lip?
Hi, I truly appreciate your time and help. My name is Denise and I have cold sores on my upper lip that are just starting. One of the plastic surgeons I used to work with recommended Acyclovir-is it ok to take Nyquil while taking Acyclovir-or Zovirax the generic medication for this?

Thank you for posting on HCM.
Nyquil is basically a mixture of antihistamines,and decongestants. I don't think Acyclovir has any significant drug interaction with the contents of Nyquil and thus can be safely taken together.
