Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome.

Based on the history given you seem to be suffering from a condition called prepatellar bursitis or "Housemaid's knee".

Neuromet Capsule contains Alpha Lipoic Acid, Folic Acid, Mecobalamin, and Vitamin B6 and is commonly prescribed to treat the deficiency states of these vitamins like peripheral neuritis, pregnancy, malnutrition, diabetes, etc.
Used alone it is not effective in controlling the pain associated with bursitis.

I would recommend the following supportive measures for the pain relief like:

1. Resting the knee.
2. Apply the ice packs on the knee (a tea towel wrapped around a bag of frozen peas makes a good ice pack).
3. For kneeling, the use of a thick foam cushion or knee pads - these can help to prevent the condition from coming back.
4. A physiotherapist can help by teaching you some exercises if your knee joint is affected by a reduced range of movement.
5. A stick or a cane can help with walking.

6. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as Ibuprofen, can be taken for mild-to-moderate pain.

7. If there is no improvement then you need to consult an orthopedic surgeon for possible aspiration of the fluid from the bursa followed by an intra articular steroid injection to reduce the painful swelling.

Hope the advice given above would be beneficial in getting rid off knee pain.

A feed back is appreciated.
