General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is likely that she has a viral infection, an common cold. This is the most common reason for nasal congestion.

You can use the spray for 3 to 5 days only, if used for longer it can worsen the blockage.
She may develop other symptoms such as cough, sneezing etc and they can also be treated if they occur.

The symptoms may last 1 to 2 weeks.

I hope this helps
