Is Montek LC Effective In The Treatment Of Pharyngitis?

I am feeling some problems in my nose and throat due to cold....and felling some inflammation on the nasal throat point and pharynx..... As I am also a patient of chronic pharyngitis ....so what I have do in this time.....now this time I am taking Montek lc tablet....is that right for me or not....please suggest me.

I have gone through your query. Montek LC is combination of mast cell stabilizer - monteleukast and anti histamine- levocetirizine. This is used for allergic respiratory problems. So if you have allergic problems then this can be taken. But for chronic pharyngitis due to infection this is not effective. In that case antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs like Nimusulide will be effective.
