Is Miralax Advisable While Suffering From IBS?

Have had diverticulitis and am off antibiotics.. also have severe IBS.. Usually I get diarrhea and have it daily.. Lately.. I have the opposite problem.. something very uncommon to me.. I can eat things I haven t e in years because it use to make me sick.... I bought Miralax thinking that might solve the problem but it says do not take if you have IBS.. Was also taking Welchol to slow down the transit time but obviously I quit that because I don t need it. Have had a bout of depression because I had breast cancer and the drug I was taking (Femara) causes it. Need to know what to do????????????? No longer take Femara.
