Is Lexapro Being Contraindicated If A Person Is On Multaq?

Hi, I am a registered nurse. I am concerned about conflicting information I am reading about the drug Lexapro being contraindicated if a person is on Multaq. This website states it is contraindicated (not just monitor closely) while several other professional websites give no drug interaction precautions for these two drugs.

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

There are few drug interaction seen with Lexapro and multaq like asthenia, diarrhoea, fatigue, nausea etc. These are mild side effects. The side effects mainly depend upon the dose of the drug. There is nothing harm in taking precaution while taking these two drugs. Rest you can discuss with your physician.

Thanks
