General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

LDL cholesterol levels should be less than 100 mg/dL. Levels of 100 to 129 mg/dL are acceptable for people with no health issues but may be of more concern for those with heart disease or heart disease risk factors.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
• Choose healthier fats. Saturated fat and trans fat raise your total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol
• Avoid trans fats
• Limit your dietary cholesterol
• Select whole grains
• Stock up on fruits and vegetables
• Eat heart-healthy fish
• Drink alcohol only in moderation

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
