Is Intracranial hypertension related to thyroid ?

I stopped taking Acetazolamide for intracranial hypertension on Tuesday, at my consultants request. Over the last couple of days I have experienced swollen eyes, face and fingers. Could this be to do with my thyroid? Thanks
