Is Ibuprofen The Right Medicine For Recurring Cold And Cough?

I can t seem to shake this cough! I had the flu/ cold three weeks ago, started to get my energy back and feeling well again. But only had a few days break when the cough came back again. I m trying not to take Ibuprofen anymore because it was a long two weeks of taking it. But it does seem to make me feel better with less coughing.

Thanks for the query. I understsnd your concern.
Ibuprophen is an anti inflammatory dtug.. & may give relief for the inflammation /pain caused by recurring cough &cold.But it csn not help the badic cause ofthe problem.. which mostly is allergy.
Prevention to knoen allergens ( or to get allergy screening test done yo find the list of allergens &prevent them /Anti allergic decongestant medicines &cough syrup along with needful antibiotic as per doctors advise/desensatisationn treatment by sllergy specialist ... form the usual treatment plan.
