Is Humira Effective To Treat Systemic Lupus Erythematosus?

I have had Lupus for 30 years and have tried nearly everything but prednisolone was the only thing that helped. I decided to stop work and after 18 months weaned myself off prednisolone after 16 years. But ... pain is still my constant friend NOT!!! A friend has ALS and has had instant and long lasting result from Humira injection every fortnight. Can Humira be used to treat SLE? Cheer Rosie

I really appreciate your concern, SLE and Lupus does not have any cure with any of system of medicine but it can be controlled clinically with steroid, use of Adalimubab "Humira" is highly questionable, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
