Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern
i am very happy to see that your diabetes is under good control now.
reducing the tablet glycomet is a great idea
i suggest you to follow good diet and exercise by doing so you can even stop medication completely and be on diet and exercise only.
regular monitoring of blood sugar is very important to know the progress in diabetes.
i suggest you to check a very important test in diabetes its called as Hba1c% also called as three month average blood sugar.
keep your target as below 6.5% for consideration of stopping medication.
kindly let me know your height and weight for further analysis
regards
