Is Enterogermina Advisable For The Following Stool Test Results?
My baby is 7 months old, and has been having loose stools semi solid for last 2 weeks. We got a stool test done and results as follows: color: greenish consistency: semi solid mucus : not present rbcs: 1-3/hpf puss cells : 3-5/hpf occult blood: present pH : acid Please let me know what the results interpret? The doctor has prescribed bifilar,enterogermina for 3 to 5 days.

I really appreciate your concern, the test report is normal one, most of the diarrhea in this age is self limiting and passing of stool three to four time could be normal one but of course hydration need to be taken care, in my opinion culture sensitivity could be thought, else this is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
