Is Ecosprin And Progesterone Safe To Take Prior To Conception?

Hi, I miscarried twice in the last 1 year. First one was a blighted ovum and second was a chemical pregnancy. My doctor advised me to take ecospirin and progesterone from this month and start trying from next month .Basically take a break of a month. Please suggest if starting ecospirin and progesterone prior to conception are ok or not?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
In cases of repeated pregnancy losses, many a times we advise Progesteron ( a hormone that supports pregnancy to grow ) & ecosprin ( to assure good blood circulation to fetus )...depending on causative factor/ patient's health.
You can take both the medicines even before pregnancy.. PROVIDED it is advised by your treating doctor.
Thanks.
