Is Duphaston Safe During Pregnancy?

Hi I am shanthi 30 years old.I have 3years old girl baby. Now I am 6 weeks pregnant .In 5thweek i had a weak positive in blood test and 6th week only i get positive. one year before i had one missed abortion and now my doctor gave me folicum 5mg and duphaston(two tablets for a day) for 30 days. Does taking duphaston ok for me and my fetus. does it affect the growth of fetus. Need your valuable suggestion. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Duphaston is very much safe in early weeks of pregnancy. It supports pregnancy and prevents abortion or miscarriage.

Take those medicine according to doctor's recommendation. Do one ultrasound scan to get detailed picture on fetal profile. Good luck.
