Is Duphaston Advisable During Pregnancy?

On 5th week of pregnancy, my doc suggest to take duphaston 10mg for 15days. 2tab per day. When she examined, she found spot of brown colour liquid and she thought that I may have chance of bleeding and so on. So she prescribed Duphaston. How & how much long it is beneficial to me? Is there any side effects on baby? I just found it is discontinued in usa and uk.

Hi I think you can take duphaston without any worry. It is a progesterone which supports implantation and prevents miscarriages. You can take it till 12 weeks of pregnancy. Hope it helps.
