Is Drotaverine Hydrochloride Safe During Pregnancy?

Hey doctor,
I'd like to ask about drotaverine hydrochloride and its effect druing pregnancy. Some says its safe and doesnt cause abortion while other says yes it does. While i am checking that at google, some says it can be used in abortion. Now, i totally confused about that.

As a rule, one should take no medicines in first trimester i.e. first 3 months of pregnancy unless prescribed by your doctor. In the 2nd trimester i.e. after 3rd month, Drotaverine is quite safe.
However I would emphasise that you see an obstetrician regularly, like monthly antenatal check-ups instead of using google as a guide to taking medicines
