Is Coversyl 2.5mg Contraindicated For Ovarian Cancer?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I am presently on round 3 of paclitaxel carboplatin chemotherapy for ovarian cancer. Blood pressure is elevated and my GP who admits he has no prior experience of Ov Ca has just prescribed Coversyl 2.5 mg. Just want to check for contraindications

Detailed answer:In my opinion,the drug coversyl doesn't affect the progression of ovarian cancer or the chemo and hence can be safely taken during chemotherapy with carboplatin/paclitaxel,provided the liver and kidney functions are normal.However you should inform this to your oncologist and get approval before further using.
