Is Corion 5000 Injection Advisable During Pregnancy?

my wife is pregnant for 5weeks . this is our 1st issue. her age is 31. Now our doctor advised her Corion 5000 injection once in a week for 6 weeks. but from net we came to know that its not suggested to take the injection during pregnancy. wats your opinion. Thanx in advance

Hi...inj.corion contains HCG...this leads to increased release of progesterone which helps in maintenance of pregnancy.. As your age is 31 you can't afford abortion... That's why your doctor prescribed you this injection in good faith.. It can be given during pregnancy... Its safe..
