Is Clindamycin The Right Medicine For Diabetes?

My Dr give me clindamycin gcl cap 300 mg , I fall and i have a small soar on my hand and it was a week ago and I visited my Dr because I am diabetic and I want to make sure that I am ok but she gave me clindamycin which I have no infection . Should I take them?

Hello and welcome.
I dont think that you should take antibiotics on your own. Clindamicin is good for some infections in diabetics, but also Ciprofloxacin should be added if there is suspicion of aerobic infection and you should do blood tests for it.
