Is Canesten Ideal For Foul Smelling Vaginal Discharge?
I am 29 years old and am 21 weeks pregnant now. I was having abdominal pains and so today I was diagnosed with vaginal infection by a Dr without any test. She just asked me if I have discharge and when I confirmed I have a white curd like discharge she prescribed Canesten 1 vaginal tablets. But I forgot to mention that the discharges are foul smelling also. So in that case should I continue with the given medication or should I go meet her again? Will it affect the baby ? Please answer quickly. Thanks & Regards

You seem to have described infection by Candida. Yes it can be foul smelling with a curdy vaginal discharge. Canesta should take care of it. And it will not affect the baby.
