Hello doctor , As I started going to a dermatologist few years back I am done with tretiva tablets , mox and I was on azithromycin for 3-4 months last year . After that I never had pimples . recently in July I fell sick with viral infection fever and I was induced with higher antibiotics through saline by a doctor. After that suddenly in few weeks I had small small nodules like pimples near my ears around my cheeks. I consulted my doctor again and she told me to start azithromycin again . I took them for 2 months but those small allergy type nodules went away but still pimples coming in that specific area of my face . I am applying D Acne in morning and Deriva CMS at night since 2-3 years . Now my doctor said me to start taking MINOCYCLINE 50 mg at night and at apply DERIVA BPO at night and Dacne in morning . I remember I had once tried benzoyl peroxide for few days years back and I felt it didn t suit me . I told her this but she said this is a very good combination you do apply . And I had 4 minocycline tablets till now but still there is a new pimple out . Can you please suggest if this will work ? Shall I have patience for minocycline and what about deriva bpo is it better than deriva cms ? Please help!
