Is Benadryl The Right Medicine For Skin Rashes All Over The Body?

I woke up this morning with rashes all over my body from my neck down. The only thing that I thought that I have eaten in the last three or four days out of the normal which I could chip cookies at a friend of mine had brought over to our house. I’ve been taking Benadryl it is not itchy. Will it go away in due time, or do I need to go to a medical facility to get some sort of shot to take it away?

Hi,

I understand your concern.

As the rash is not itchy, some type of viral infection with skin manifestation is suspected. Please send a photo for a more specific answer.

If the rash won't disappear although you take Benadryl then should go to ER for immediate evaluation and treatment.

Wish fast recovery.
