Is BP Being 99 Over 69 With Pulse Rate 91 While Being On BP Medications Normal?

I am a 44 year old female...my blood pressure was 99 over 69 today, but my pulse rate was 91...if your pulse is the difference between systolic and diastolic, how is that possible? If my home machine is incorrect about the blood pressure and I manually check my pulse, I still get a pulse rate of 90.Is that normal? H 5'4" W 185 currently taking BP meds.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. You are talking about pulse pressure and not pulse. Pulse is what you checked manually.
2. Pulse pressure is the difference between systolic and diastolic.
3. Your blood pressure is low and your medication dosage needs to be reduced to increase your blood pressure.
4. Discuss with your doctor regarding blood pressure medication.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
