Is Azithromycin The Right Medicine For Cough And Wheezing?

Hi, I am going through wheezing for a week. For this I am taking cipla asthalin rotacaps. Recently I am also getting cough at night. I was suggested to take azithromycin. My question is can I take both of these medicines together? Is there any severe interaction while taking these medicines together. If yes, what might be the solution? Thanks & regards, Nitin

Hi there,
Thanks for using HCM,
Wheezing and coughing in the night could be due to bronchospasm. It could be due to asthma or lower respiratory infection. You can take azithromycin to treat the possible infection. Asthalin will relieve the bronchospasm.
Yes, you can both the medications together.
There is no serious side effects between these two medications.

I hope that answers your query.
Regards.
