Is Azithral 500 safe during pregnancy

my wife is 7 week pregnent, she is suffering from cough and cold problem from last 15 days, we counsulted with a doctor and she has prescribed Azithral 500, is this safe to take in pregnency

Azithromycin is a category B drug which means that while there is no evidence of this harming thee child, no controlled studies are available to assess outcomes in pregnant women.
It is given only when the benefit outweighs the risk. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which is considered safe during pregnancy and I would suggest you speak to your physician about this.
