Is Aspirin Advisable For Headaches?

I am getting headaches in the temple area. My eye doctor states I have early onset of macular degeneration Which runs in y family. My primary doc said to take baby aspirin (4) but this is not helping. The headaches are stress related. I am woken u at night with them. How much ba By aspirin should I take ? WhT is better because this is not working?

Hello,
I'm sorry you are experiencing this. The cause of headaches are multiple, varying from common ones, like stress or dehydration to serious ones. It is advised to start by eliminating the simple causes and in your case, stress seems to be an important factor.
Try to eliminate stress as much as possible, by returning to your favorite hobbies or activities, or giving yoga a try.
Baby aspirin isn't strong enough to be relieving this type of headache, so I would recommend Advil (ibuprofen).
If the headache continues or Ibuprofen doesn't work, then I strongly recommend you see a doctor for further investigation.
