Anastrazole can be given to both pre and post menopausal women in treatment of breast cancer, which acts on estrogen production. for that you need not worry. coming to mirena it is effective for 5 yrs, during usage sometimes periods will become lighter and may stop also, but once it is removed periods will start again.May be you didnot attain menopause. usually menopause now a days is seen after 50 yrs, if hysterectomy is not done.bleeding after the age of 52 requires at least one fractional curettage and pathology examination to know the condition of endometrium.so,you better discuss about the bleeding with your gynaecologist who will do the needful.
