Is Amebicide Effective For E. Histolytica Cysts?
My son is 4 months old and was diagnosed with E. histolytica cysts. He was given Metronidazole by his Pediatrician for 1 week. He has persistent mucoid stools and still positive for amebic cysts on the stool after 1 week of medication. What is the amebicide to be used for his case. Thank you.
