Is Acitrom Administration Safe While Doing Cataract Surgery?
My father had mitral valve replace in 2008 and he is taking acitrom tablet. now (dec 2012) he wants to do Eye catract laser operation. whether he needs to stop acitrom tablet or since its laser operation.. no need to worry abou that. Regards,Antony

It seems that your father may stop taking Acitrom for a day or two.
In laser surgery there is very less bleeding is there but it can be there.
Before stopping Acitrom, consult your cardiologist and take his opinion.
