Is 80 Mg Of Omeprazole The Right Medicine For Acid Reflux And Nausea?

Can reflux cause a person to constantly feel over heated and sweating? Its almost like a hot flash, but it is lasting all day/night. I have reflux so bad I am taking 80mg of Omeprazole and am still nauseated. I am waiting for a referral to a gastric. doctor.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Acid peptic disease with nausea is better treated with a combined medication containing antacid and anti-emetic.
Instead of taking omeprazole, which is just an antacid, kindly take Pantoprazole with Domperidone combination, which is much effective to overcome both symptoms.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
Wish you good health.
