hi, Welcome to HCM, I understand from your question that you had one miscarriage after 20weeks, despite of putting cervical suture, and you do not have any baby. You bled heavily in your last period, and one more time. I believe that ESR was done after 8 hrs of fasting. TSH is bit high, but other Thyroid tests like T3, T4 are within normal range. I think that your doctor might have suggested D&C, Hysteroscopy and PCR to rule out any disease of endometrium, like TB or Atypical Hyperplasia, which could be responsible for your heavy flow, and mid trimester abortion. Your doctor wants to investigate for any uterine cause for mid trimester abortion, like small polyp most commonly. This time your bleeding has stopped because of Texakind, but may bleed heavily again in next period. High level of TSH can cause high bleeding, but it is better to rule out other causes first. In Non pregnant state, slightly high TSH with normal T3 T4 levels may not need medication, but during pregnancy, it is necessary to take the medicines, even if it is slightly high, rather TSH should be less than the normal upper margin of TSH. In my opinion, you must follow your doctor s advise, and go for those procedures.
