Is 11.4 Cm Spleen Dangerous?
good mornin,my daughter has had an ultra sound done on her spleen ,it is 11.4 cm is that conciderd dangerous.family doctor and two others all say diferent from okay to not good one says high side of norm.17 yrs 130 pds 5' 5 wants to return to sports

Normally Spleen size is up to 11 cm...
Here it is 11.4 cm in size, so borderline enlargement there
Clinical correlation needed in your case
If she has any symptoms then CBC, PS examination etc like further investigation planned
If she is totally asymptomatic and on examination lymph nodes are normal in size then I think no further work up needed
