Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I had a cardiac arrest in January. I am 51 years old and have never had heart problems before. i have been diagnosed with arrythmia. I have been given 5mg of bisoprol and 1.25mg of ramipril. The ramipril has caused a shocking cough which I know is a side effect. I had to stop this tablet a week ago and now the cough is going. Mt BP however is now 107 over 65 and yesterday was 100 over 64, should I worry?
Your bp is in normal range. You not need to worry about that. But you should check your bp regularly and consult your family physician if you find palpitation or giddiness or any other atypical symptoms and do echo and ekg atleast every 6 months..
