Irritation Due To Overwork, Unhappy With Life. Is This A Sign Of Depression?

i am never happy. I come home everyday from work and get things ready for my family to eat and then leave and go to school at nite. come home at 8 o clock and finish supper for them. while they complain about what it is or eat something else. I complain all the time about everything.
Do I need to talk to a dr. ? Am I depressed? Do I need to take a chill pill? let me know...my email is YYYY@YYYY

Hi.You are very much aware that the cause of your irritation is overwork.I suggest you reduce your work or take a job change and try to devote sufficient time to spend with your family which actually is taking care of you in a good way.Learn to cultivate interest in your work, school and the time which you spend with your family.This is not at all depression.But prolonged exacerbation might result in depression.In anticipation you may also practice some stress relaxation techniques like yoga, pranayama etc which will keep you calm and focussed.
