Hi back i february i posted a med question. i was drinking and smoking heavy,one night after smoking and drinkin alot i had symptoms of asthma and alot of mucus i coughed so hard for a couple of days and dry heaved with high pitch puking noises and only cleared out alot of mucus.hurt throat a few times doing it too. i then feltsensation of lump at bottom left area of throat,but felt no lump to the touch.went to doctor and took 2 weeks of penicilin got rid of lumpy feeling,but am left with very very very very irritating feeling in voice box area i did a throat soft tissue ultrasound and chest,blood and urine and neck xray and finally a visit to an ENT specialist. He scoped my throat and gave BAswallow .he first assumed it might be GERD,or lpr,but i have had this for 4 months now with this feeling in my voicebox area and no other signs of gerd or lpr his scope and tests were all normal and said he saw no signs of growths or cancer and put me on tecta para for 2 months now and still not even close getting rid of this feeling in my voicebox area.no blood,noswelling,no lump,no pain,no problems breathing or swallowing,no signs,but when i smoke or drink or take my ventulin bronch puffer it feels worse all tests say normal,but have to take tecta for 2 more months already been taking it fo 2 months 2 pills a day no change will this feeling ever go away what is it im in tears over this feeling is constant and preoccupying driving me nuts no quality of life what to do what is this.i dont think its gerd and dont want to wait months on end taking pills that dont work when i could find out what this is sooner and deal with it.sigh..thanks
