Irregular Periods After Marriage. Reason?

Hi,
My wife have a regular period (28days once) before marriage, we married on april 2013. after marriage she have irregular period like june, july and august she got period every 30days. so she took folic acid 5mg tablet everyday to get conceive. but in this month (september) she get period at 20days itself. please may i know the reason.

Hello sir and welcome.

There are various reasons for an irregular period that has started quite recently, for this reason you will have to take your wife to the doctor for a hormone check and a transvaginal ultrasound scan; to look for any abnormalities. Once this has been ruled out, the morr serious conditions can be ruled out. With a few hormone supplements the condition can be corrected.
