Hi, I am 39 years olds (2 kids) having irregular periods for last 6 months. generally i get periods for every 38 days. now doc said to take pelvic sonography. my reports are as follows. uterus normal position and echo genuity. endometrial thickness is 10mm. no adrenal mass. no free fluid in pelvis. impression : no demonstrable pathology noted in pelvis. my doc has given re gestron 5mm for 10 days and asked to discontinue. what is the problem. is my case a menopause problem. i am 40 years old. earlier i had same problem when i was around 35 years old. i was given similar treatment for 3 months for excessive bleeding. thank u
Thanks for using HCM.You appear to be having perimenopausal problems ,not menopausal.The increased bleeding and heavy/irregular periods can occur in this phase which occurs prior to menopause.Progesterone for a short time will help stop the excessive bleeding .

Thanks for using HCM.You appear to be having perimenopausal problems ,not menopausal.The increased bleeding and heavy/irregular periods can occur in this phase which occurs prior to menopause.Progesterone for a short time will help stop the excessive bleeding .
