OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
From the history and the sonogram report it is likely that you could be having polycystic ovaries. This could be the reason for the irregular periods and the infertility. You should also test for insulin resistance, serum DHEAS levels and AMH to establish a diagnosis. Treatment is usually through control of symptoms, hormone supplementation, maintenance of proper insulin levels, induction of ovulation and nutritional supplementation. Please maintain a healthy weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet. Hope this helps.
