Irregular Menstruation, Should I Be Worried ?

I am thirty years old and I have generally been fairly regular in my menstrual cycle . The last two months, however, I had two prolonged periods that were abnormally close to one another. The first was 8 days ( I normally last about 6). The second came only 10 days after the first ended, and it lasted 14 days. Both were fairly heavy for me. Should I be worried ?

Menstrual irregularity can be due to many reasons as stress,PCOD, fibroids, hormonal problems etc.You should see a gynecologist and get some investigations done. You may have to go to endocrinologist if required.
