Intestinal Blockage, Nausea, Vomiting, Early Dimentia. Any Advice?

My 83 year old dad started feeling nautious yesterdat and vomitted some yellow liquid up but then they went home and my dad vomitted a couple more times last night and his vomit had some black in it he said. She said he had soup the day before and it had some black beans in it but this doesnt sound good to me and i told her she needs to take him to the doctor. He had intestinal blockage in june and had to be hospitalized and im wondering if it might be that again. He hasnt thrown up again since 3 am but doesnt feel great or feel like eating. My mom downplays it and im very worried. He has early dimentia and they live about an hour away. Thanks for any advice. Thanks. Marianne

this does not seem to me blockage
as in many cases the food taken does not suit to a person and that causes reactions in the mucosa causing the problems
you can use antacids antiemetics and antiinfective med plenty of fluids
low protein diet non oily non spicy foods
but get consultation from your doctor to be doubly sure
