She is having chest pain for over a period of a day and radiates, and feels like she has to take a deep breath all of the time to get enough oxygen . We did go to the ER and was sent home with muscle skeletal pain because they figured it was from auto accident she was in two weeks ago. D-dimer was neg. Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi there,
Thanks for writing in.
I am a qualified and certified cardiologist. I read your mail with diligence.
First about the unverified computer generated report of EKG as it is written within the report it is normal variant. I would still urge you to show the person to take an appointment with a doctor who will thoroughly examine the lady, see her EKG and also look what is causing pain. As you had been told in ER it is not cardiac pain investigations which you narrated also support that part of diagnosis. Meanwhile you can try giving OTC available pain killers like Tylenol or Brufen. Good Luck.
Best Wishes
