Injured cartilage bone. Surgery for PCL, MCL and meniscus tear. Treatment options?

My fiance had an accident... He has injured his cartilage bone . the doctor said he has lost cartilage a that of a 50 year old man... he went surgery for PCL MCL and meniscus tear.. can you please tell me the consequences

THESE R REGULAR RTA INJURIES... SUSTAINED.
GET THE SURGERY DONE AT THE EARLIEST, AS PER UR DR.
BECAUSE IF UNATTENDED... IT CAN CAUSE INSTABILITY OF HIS KNEE JOINT.
